What is the minimum and maximum age?
Minimum age of 18 years old. No maximum age restriction.
How many hours per week will it take to participate?
Depending on the individual, an estimated 5-7 hours per week. This estimate includes weekly class time.
What does a week look like in a School of Transformation course?
Each week you’ll be given assignments such as watching a video, reading a portion of the Bible or reading other provided learning material. You will participate in small group discussions online, and do homework. There is also a weekly live teaching session where your questions can be answered and where you will practice what you are learning. You can choose to attend the live teaching session online or in-person.
Do you offer online attendance?
Yes. Most courses have the option to attend online or in-person. Check with the specific course or event that you are interested in.
When do I get access to the online course content?
On the course start date, you will be given access to an online portal. In the online portal there will be assignments you do online. The class will meet once a week in-person for more in-depth teaching and practical application. If a student cannot join in-person, they are able to join via Zoom. We often have Zoom attendees who join the live in-person class. In-person classes are held at the Radiant Life Ministry Center located at 2151 East College Ave., State College, PA 16801.
What will the course be like?
It is a full classroom experience, online. You’ll have dedicated facilitators who will walk you through the class as instructors. You’ll have a group of fellow students, going through the course together, sharing experiences, holding each other accountable, and becoming friends. This course will take some effort on your part to dig in and learn. It is a course that will give you opportunities to grow in a greater understanding and experience of God, a greater love for the Bible, and practical tools to step out in faith and see God work through you.
Are these go-at-your-own-pace courses?
No. Each course has a set schedule with online weekly assignments, homework, group discussions and live teaching.
What payment methods are accepted?
The recommended payment method is online while registering for the class. When registering for the class, you will be prompted to go ahead and make a payment by credit card. Other options (Cash, Check) are available if needed. Please contact [email protected] for assistance.
If I sign up for a course, but decide not to come, can my course payment be applied to a future course?
No. Payments are non-refundable.
Are there scholarships available?
Not at this time. If you would like to provide a scholarship for someone, please contact [email protected] for assistance.
Do you provide childcare?
No.
What are the technology requirements for the courses?
To have a good course experience, you need to have a strong, reliable internet connection. Course content includes Zoom sessions, streaming video, and website access. If you can watch YouTube videos without problems on your computer, then your internet connection should be fast enough. Your computer should to be up to date with all software. You also need to be comfortable logging into websites and using email, downloading files, and using the web.
